Real Estate is in Tim Etherington's DNA.  Being a third generation real estate professional  of developers,  real estate brokers and tax attorneys has provided Tim a firm foundation for what he could see where the Atlanta Intown neighbors were paying way too much in property taxes on property values as assessed by the local taxing authorities.  He decided to use his expertise as a property appraiser to do something about it.  Initially, Tim only filed appeals on the behalf of his family, friends and himself.  Ultimately the word spread of his success in winning property tax appeals and Property-Tax-Reductions was formed.

Tim has over 25 years of property tax assessment reduction experience and is State Certified General Commercial Appraiser in Georgia.  Since 1988, he has been active in Atlanta Intown Real Estate as a Licensed Realtor in Georgia.  Tim's proficiency in these 2 fields, expertise a real estate investor and general contractor, as well as family roots gave him the vision for Property-Tax Reductions. He is a founder of Property-Tax-Reductions and now acts on behalf of the property owners to reduce unfair real property tax assessments.

Tim currently lives in Atlanta Intown 30306 for over 15 years.  He is vested in the community actively working to improve the health, safety and  welfare of neighbors.  This includes grass-root neighborhood outreach activism but not limited to:

1) Assisted with MLPA and Druid Hills Tour of Homes fundraisers;
2) Working with City Commissioners to:
     A. Safe Water: Replace rusty corroded centuries old water main valves with
         Atlanta Water Works Department;
